Praise & Music Evaluation Form




Praising God is not just a group activity. The teachings and traditions of our Church fathers clearly show how praise is considered prayer and how God’s presence could be felt during praise that flows from the heart.


Competition Guidelines & Evaluation Criteria:



Choir Performance:


  • The choir competition is for all ages. 

  • Participants can sing in groups of up to 20 people with one exception to cross ages group  with unlimited participants.
  • The performance must relate to the theme of Festival 2020, “My church, spirit and life” and should be drawn from our Church spirit, its values and traditions.

  • All teams are required to present in harmony and unity reflecting a prayerful spirit throughout all


  • A pamphlet must be recorded and uploaded to festival's Youtube channel. The

    pamphlet should include the following: Church name, Team / Group name, Age Group and all of the

    song lyrics.

  • File size must not exceed 500 MB, using MP4 format

  • The choir performance must not exceed 15 minutes.

  • Each performance may include one old heritage song (3 minutes only, regardless of its original length).

    Teams can select a few lines of the song(s) to stay within the time frame.

  • Each performance can have 3 songs for a maximum of 15 minutes in total.

  • Technical difficulties related to sound equipment will not result in any mark deductions. 

  • Songs chosen for the choir performances can be in any language, English is preferred. 


An approval letter from the church's priest need to be provided and uploaded by the festival's servants otherwise media will not be counted. 


At the final submission, the project must be uploaded to Youtube channel size must not exceed 300 MB, using MP4 format
